Dieser Ford Escort fuhr ursprünglich in Griechenland als Rundstreckenauto, kam dann nach Deutschland, wo ihn Jonas Bellinger zum Rallyeauto umbaute und Tanja Zingelmann ihn übernahm. Tanja ist kein Neuling im Rallyesport. Sie fährt schon seit 1986 überwiegend mit VW Golf, gewann 1992 sogar die Stormann Rallye und 1997 die Hamburger Meisterschaft. Dann war die Familienplanung an erster Stelle. Ab 2023, als die drei Söhne alt genug waren, ging es weiter, zunächst wieder mit dem Golf 1, aber der Reiß nach einem potenteren Hecktriebler führt schließlich zu dem Ford Escort.
Gestern: Jochi Kleint/Jochen Berger, Rallye Vorderpfalz 1971
Jochis große Karriere im Rallyesport begann mit Ford, was nur logisch war, weil sein Bruder Ernie Ford Capris für den Motorsport vorbereitet und einsetzte, auch den für Walter Röhrl. Der große Gegner in der deutschen Meisterschaft für den 2,6-Liter Capri war Achim Warmbold im BMW 2002, der allerdings in der 2-Liter Klasse fuhr. Um diesem Punkte in der kleinen Klasse wegzunehmen, lieh sich Jochi Kleint einen Escort RS1600 für die Vorderpfalz Rallye, statt in einem zweiten Capri gegen Röhrl zu fahren. Der Escort war schlicht weiß mit nur wenigen Sponsor Klebern. Es nützte aber wenig, Röhrl führte souverän, bis er in einen Graben rutschte und der Kühler defekt war und Jochi wurde nur sechster im Gesamt. Achim Warmbold gewann dies Vorderpfalz-Rallye und auch die Meisterschaft 1971.

Mais elle n’a pas servi à grand-chose, car Röhrl était en tête jusqu’à ce qu’il glisse dans un fossé et que le radiateur soit cassé. Achim Warmbold remporta ce rallye du Vorderpfalz ainsi que le championnat 1971.
